Juneteenth
Disney Branded Television asked us to create a 45-second animation for their “Use Your Voice” campaign, focused on Juneteenth. The goal was to teach kids about the holiday’s history and inspire them to learn more. While honoring the story’s complexity, we aimed for a tone that felt accurate yet approachable for young viewers. Through thoughtful illustration, color, and movement, we balanced history with a modern feel, including symbolic nods to African American history like an HBCU marching band member and the Alabama State Capitol.
